Presto Panel is the preferred option for Dairy Yarding as it is easy to erect and already cut to the sizes you specify. Its smooth galvanised surface resists rust and makes it easy to clean. The twin rib of the panel creates a visual barrier to the livestock keeping them moving through the dairy efficiently. For this project 1.0mm hi-tensile galvanised Presto Panel was used. Notice the deep grooves scored into the concrete for animal traction. A combination of steel fixing tek screws and welding was used to attach the Presto Panel to the steel posts. In the instances where the Presto Panel was welded, a galvanised coating was applied to those points for protection.
This is a robotic dairy, and by using Presto Panel the owner was able to create and support his idea of reliability and less maintenance.
