The versatility of Presto Panel lends itself towards Deer Yarding. The pictures below illustrate how easy it is to erect deer yards using Presto Panel. With deer being the ‘high jumpers', vertical construction ensures successful enclosures. The 207mm (8 ¼") panel creates a good visual barrier, and when spaced with a slight gap, only allows the animal to see small segments of the external world. The 29mm, (1 ⅛") undulation between the two hills, gives dimension and allows the deer to gauge their distance, this means that they will be more aware and less flighty. The height of the yard is determined by you, as each length will be custom cut to your specifications. With 2 rolled edges, the panel offers maximum safety. To create this scenario use 0.8mm hi-tensile galvanised Presto Panel, with the panels already cut to 2.4 metres high, horizontal supporting beams above and below, and then re-enforce every metre. Attach your Panel to the beams with tek screws and ‘Hey Presto’ you have successfully constructed strong and durable Deer Yards.
